Finding Love in the Workforce

That's my new J/7 story and I'm sticking to it.

Finding Love in the Workforce is an episode fix of "Workforce" from Star Trek: Voyager. I did the 5,400+ word story as a response to The Backdoor Challenge on the J7Faction bulletin board. Five authors in all contributed stories.

My story Finding Love in the Workforce "fixes" the episode "Workforce" like so: WORKFORCE RE-DO What if Jaffen and Kathryn were only good friends and Janeway moves in with Seven instead? Chakotay arrives and disrupts their happy life with stories about a lost ship far, far away from home and her brave captain. What happens when they regain their memories and return to Voyager?

All the stories are located on Beachbum's site or the J7Faction's new Fanfic archive. Accessing the stories on Beach's page is normal. You need to be a member of the J7Faction board to access the stories there but it's free and the board is a fun place to hang out with other J7 fanatics (like me)

PS - If you're so inclined, please visit my son's blog to help us get him to Japan in June 2009 with People to People.
I also have a new ebook So Many Ways (lesbian erotic romance) available for donations made through this site.

new interview posted

I participated in an interview at Joyce Anthony's Books and Authors blog:
http://joyceanthony.tripod.com/blog

I talk a little bit about why and how I write, and tell a very embarrassing story of my youth. So head on over and read. Feel free to share the link, or post follow up questions in the comments.

Change in Plans

Crossing into the new year always sparks me to clean something. In the disorganized space which is my laptop, I've come across some bits that could be considered SHORT short stories. Smiles. Vignettes. Little more. Probably from a freewriting done here or there when I couldn't get focused on something else. Here's the first: a bit of J/7 sweetness, rated: G, "Change in Plans".

Then there's a long-awaited update to "Unimatrix Zero", essentially part 2. What went on between Janeway and Seven in the Unimatrix (other than fighting for the drones' freedom ), rating: NC17. It fits between "Unimatrix Zero One Part 1" and "From Love Comes Strength". You'll find links to them on the story's page.

There's a couple more here (looks through files), and I am still trying to complete the draft for "Turn for Home". My new year's resolution was to turn most of my attention to writing, instead of other things. Hopefully it will meet with everyone's satisfaction.
